The legendary Peterson Portable Sawmills are coming to Timberstar Tractor this fall. Cut, sand, plane, all with one machine. And with a pivoting head, no more flipping your log to get dimensional lumber out of your timber.

Big news for Canada and the Northeastern USA.
We’re proud to announce that Wallenstein Equipment is now the exclusive distributor of the Junior Peterson (JP) portable sawmill across Canada and the Northeastern United States 🇨🇦
This is an exciting step for Petersons, and a great move for sawyers and sawmillers in Canada who have been asking for easier access to the JP, local dealer support, and people on the ground who know the market.
Wallenstein brings more than 30 years of Canadian manufacturing experience, a strong dealer network, and a reputation for quality equipment. It is a very natural fit for the Junior Peterson.
Canada is well suited to the JP, with so many rural properties, woodlots, farms, forestry operators, and landowners looking for a practical, premium portable sawmill.
To officially launch the partnership, our CEO and Sawmill Specialist will travel from New Zealand to Canada in September for hands-on training with more than 30 Wallenstein dealers. Public demonstrations across Canada are also planned.
The first shipment of 25 Junior Peterson mills is already generating strong interest, with half already earmarked for dealers.
