Putting off an oil change might not seem like a big deal, but it can cause costly engine problems over time.

💡 Here’s what could happen:

• Old oil becomes dirty and collects harmful contaminants.
• Worn-out oil provides less protection, causing engine parts to wear faster.
• Oil can become thick and create sludge that limits proper oil flow.
• Extra friction can cause your engine to run hotter.
• Your engine may work harder and become less efficient.
• Key components like bearings, camshafts, and timing parts may wear out sooner.
• Waiting too long, or driving with low oil, can eventually result in severe engine damage.

Routine oil changes help keep your engine clean, properly lubricated, and running the way it should.

❗️Don’t wait until there’s a problem.

Your car can feel slower in the mountains because higher elevations have thinner air and less oxygen.

Engines need oxygen to burn fuel and create power. As elevation increases, less oxygen enters the engine, which can mean less power, slower acceleration, and reduced performance, especially in naturally aspirated vehicles.

Quick fact: Naturally aspirated engines can lose roughly 3% of their power for every 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Turbocharged engines are usually less affected because the turbo helps push more air into the engine.

Drive informed. Keep your engine protected.
