Onto the next rebuild.
This is my 1981 C70 that I had purchased from my friends dad. He was the original owner and wanted to let it go to someone that appreciates these bikes, and I was the first person that came to mind.
This bike was a solid daily runner for me, and in turn I swapped over a 90cc 4 speed semi auto. Then converted it to 12v throughout, including changing the point ignition to CDI for the new motor.
This bike was stolen outside of my house and was since recovered. Slide 15 was before it was stolen, and slide 16 was when it was recovered.
Because I had the opportunity to purchase it back from insurance, I have always wanted to rebuild it and get it safetied again for road use……….but first, freshen up the fuel tank and tackle some dents on the rear fender
Well, it’s time to get wrenching.
