Join us tomorrow to honour National Truth and Reconciliation day!

Semiahmoo First Nation's 5th Annual Walk for Reconciliation
Time: Sep. 30, 2025 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Grand Chief Bernard Robert Charles Memorial Plaza

Find us after the walk in Semiahmoo Park at our Pop-Up Art Hive. Event details: https://www.whiterockcity.ca/Calendar.aspx?EID=4298

We are grateful to be invited to offer an arts activity at this year's event at Semiahmoo Park. Make bird masks/puppets in the image of eagles, ravens and humming birds, which were important local birds to the people who first called this land home.

We are committed to truth and reconciliation work in our community using art as a medium to learn and explore connections. Recognizing that we do this work on the traditional and unceded lands of the Coast Salish peoples, including the Semiahma (Semiahmoo), q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), and q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) nations who have been telling stories and creating art on this land since time immemorial.
