Vancouver Dent Pro

Vancouver Dent Pro Automotive Paintless dent repair service offered at our studio in Vancouver near Laurel and Marine D

Our core service offered is Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) or Repair. I came across PDR while operating Color Care Auto Paint and found it to be the undeniable best method to repair dents when your original paint has remained intact after damage. PDR technology and techniques has changed considerably in the last 6 years. The new techniques and tooling have extended what PDR is capable of. We have st

ate of the art tooling and equipment to take advantage of what is possible with PDR today. This something that only can be provided in a fixed location where we have our equipment setup. We are applying old fashioned craftsmanship with modern equipment and service. You can expect a professional experience here at Vancouver Dent Pro.

-We put our heart and soul into every project no-matter the client. We put the work in and do it for our customers with care and respect.

Tundra Hood double 🥋karate chop aluminum hood. These hoods are heat treated similar to airplane wings so they are very stiff and difficult to reshape.
We took this out with many many small manual paint-less repair techniques to save a hood repaint. There’s something really sad about repairing a new vehicle so using a method like this makes the most sense.

Forget about getting new parts and repainting. This is much better, faster, and AVAILABLE locally. 👍

There was a major parts shortage in 2022; OEM doors like this Rav4 was out of stock with no ETA. It could take months to get a door skin so sometimes body shops may hire us to straighten a door skin with work techniques used in the PDR world. I am a professional PDR master technician from Vancouver Canada.
Although, I now know this door could have been fully repaired with paint less technology, this project was not ours and the owner of the vehicle was not our client. We were a subcontractor in this case to help the bodyshop with their client/repair/claim.
Feel free to reach out to us at www.vandentpro.com for project dents with no paint damage.
Thank you!

Showing this wonderful handmade tool I got from Stanliner and how I've been using it to fix your dented-up fenders. I've been loving these tools for my paintless dent repair service (www.vandentpro.com) and I'm showing a few examples of repairs I've done with them. If have a dent you see here that you have on your car be sure to message us at (604) 440-8783. We can get you fixed up quickly.
If you're a PDR technician trying to decide which tool to get, check this video out as I'll be comparing them side by side with other similar Stanliner tools to help with your decision making.

This video is mainly about the Stanliner fender tool and rolling spoon (one of my favorites because it makes my PDR life so much easier). I've got some examples and comparison to some other tools like the slow bend pirate hook, killer whale gen 1 (like the new hail killer), killer whale MTE version, and rolling spoon. If you wonder what they look like compared to each other you can find out in this video when I take them to the bench and show you them together!
Got any questions about them? Go ahead and ask in the comments.
I'm a PDR technician out of Vancouver, BC, Canada and own/operate VanDentPro. I'm a certified Stanliner technician and vetted by ARC.

M2 smashed by a gate
Stuck between a car infront and behind, this BMW couldn't move while a motorized parkade gate slammed into it, yes right on the driver door. That must have been traumatic.
Check out how we reshape this hard hit bodyline back to its original contours without conventional bodywork and paint.
It turned out to be even more difficult than expected. With horrible obstructions, we pick the metal bit by bit. Pull tap and blend on the painted surface.
I couldn't think of a solution to get any kind of powerful push from the backside. So a big part of this trade is just making it happen with what we know and what we have on hand. Hope that out plan works, or the plan B or C.
We use advanced techniques and tools made for this specific trade to reshape the panels paintlessly.
I just want to say, this is very very different than bodywork. We can give our tools to any other tradesman and they will not be able to do this. Without the flightime pro PDR technicians have already invested, it would be impossible to do what has to be done to arrive at an appreciable result. There is no sucker or popping at all!

This Camaro quarter was hit right where the bumper is attached. This was a previously repainted quarter panel so it limited what we would have wanted to do with glue PDR so this one was moulded from behind with a pick. A special pick design with a dolly at the end. This is done little by little to reshape the panel back to good contours again. We do this without any repainting.
In this video we will be surveying the dent, showing how we get tools inside to the backside, show what I did for leverage, and we show what main tool I used to do the pushing.
The Stanliner Universal Large Fender tool was in there for most of this repair.
We show a simple trick to make the dolly even softer in order to make the sheetmetal move without putting sharp push marks on the panel. Adding hot glue on the dolly end is a convenient trick. A more advance technique is tapping or blending with this tool without glue on the dolly.
I touch on why I blend from the inside. If you believe that steel panels have a memory, then the samurai technique of internal blending helps activate that memory.
This was not a fast repair but one that took alot of small movement. The damaged area of this panel is concave and you'll see the panels tendency to bounce back in. It is a shape that is pretty resistant to being formed which I found needed a technique like the samurai to to let the metal back to support itself.
I did use other techniques that I didn't capture in this video, but for sure rolling the metal with this tool near the edge was possible. In the initial stages while I was exploring with other tools, started pushing with a 1" rubber ball and regretted using it, although satisfying, I believe it caused some extra stretch in the panel. This extra stretch in the concave area cause some oil can problems, but in the end it was stabilized.

Full live Quick repair in this deeper fender ding. I just made few parts sped up to keep the video shorter and a cut at the end to switch camera for a close up of the final before and sanding/polishing. Brand New Stanliner Rolling spoon is showing to be a very nice compliment to Stanliner's fender tool. We can get a really clean PDR without alot of poke marks with it. It's got a different reach with a lower kick.
This application I'm using the last 1/6 of the rolling rolling towards the end. the idea is that I'm sweeping metal into the deep part and I did give a little more at the end of the roll motion. I also finsihed up with the very end (edge) of the dolly head where it is a sharper arc. Lastly tapping up the metal to level the slight low at end to get that shape and consistency right.
Check out my YouTube channel I'll have a video next up discussing the new Rolling spoon geometry and uses compared to Fender tool, Killer whaleS and even Pirate hook universal.
Thanks for watching.
