In the shop, a rare 1984 VW GTi with a 93' ABA engine with coil over shocks. It also has a 92' GTi front end and brakes. A bit of a Frankenstein, but fun to drive and we love the interior.

Here's another rare car in the shop, a 1991 Japanese Suzuki Jimny. We are one of the few shops in the lower mainland that repairs right hand drives. Very similar to the Suzuki Samaurai it has a 3 cylinder turbo charged engine. Our customer moved from Washington state to BC so we gave it a mandatory out of province inspection. The lights needed to be modified to adhere to BC standards and a it needed a new set of tires.

We've been busy posting pics of cool cars in the shop on instagram but we haven't forgot our facebook fiends. Here's a rare car in the shop, a 1972 Fulvia Lancia. Known for its rallying heritage it's a beauty. We did a drive train repair for our customer who had is shipped from Italy last fall.

We have never had so many VW Transporters in the shop, not sure why but here's two we think are very cool. The red is a 1986 repainted two door with very cool rims. We installed a new exhaust system. The white one is a VW Sinka, a very rare single cab transporter. There were only 33 manufactured by Volkswagon. We are swapping the engine for an AAZ which will give it more pep. We continue to be one of the rare shops in the city that can work confidently on these small trucks.

A very happy birthday from last week to the master Tony Roza on his 84th year. Every day he brings his skills, experience and knowledge to our shop. He couldn't do it without the love of his partner in life and in business Hannelore. Both Octogenarian strong!

The pink watermelon van got a new engine so now that the inside is up to speed it’s time for a wrap. Our customer Mary Jean, owner of the Licorice Parlour, had her 1979 VW type2 branded and we think it looks sweet. Clayton Webber of Independent Graphics spent a day in our shop getting it just right. Make sure to wave if you see the watermelon van and check out her sweet shops on Commercial Drive and Granville Island

I know you’re impressed with this 1984 Porsche 944 but this post is all about our newly wrapped fluorescent sign. It’s been hanging on East Broadway and Prince Albert for 48 years! Thanks to Lenny @ Liquid Molly for wrapping it and Awnings West for installing it. We love using liquid molly oils and additives in our customers cars so why not tell the world!

In for an out of province inspection this cute 3 door Italian supermini. The 1973 Autobianchi, manufactured by Fiat, was imported from Milan by our customer who patiently waited 7 months for it to arrive in Vancouver. It passed inspection with flying colours and its ready to hit the road.

Our customer imported this 1991 Nissan Figaro from the UK for his wife. They custom painted it because who doesn't love an orange car. In for some brake work and an oil service it's a great summer ride.
