The third-generation Honda Ridgeline is coming!

Earlier today, Honda confirmed the next version of the company’s award-winning midsize unibody pickup is set to come to market within the next two years. In preparation, manufacturing of the current 2026 model will come to a halt later this year.

An often forgotten member of Honda's lineup to the average consumer, the Ridgeline was introduced to the public with a 2004 concept known as the Honda SUT (Sport Utility Truck).

A year later, it came to market as the 2006 model-year Ridgeline.

Throughout the years, the Ridgeline has had considerably longer life cycles than other Honda vehicles. The first generation lasted 9 model years, and the second generation coming to a close after 10.

There’s speculation from the general public that the new 3rd-gen Ridgeline may use a very similar front end to the newly debuted Honda Passport, as the facelifts of both the current-gen Ridgeline and previous-gen Passport took on quite similar shapes. Would we complain about that? Absolutely not. The new Passport is a beautiful-looking vehicle, and anything they can pull from it for the new Ridgeline will absolutely improve it.

Now we just have to wait for Honda to open the chamber of secrets to get more details!
