Another fantastic evening at Gia's Diner & Treats on Wednesday, June 17!
The parking lot was filled with a great variety of vehicles and plenty of familiar faces enjoying the sights, ice cream, delicious food, and great conversation. Events like these are a perfect reminder that the car hobby is about more than just the vehicles, it’s about the people and friendships that come with it.
I arrived a little later than usual this evening, so I wasn’t able to capture photos of every vehicle in attendance, but here are some of the ones I managed to catch before the sun went down.
Thanks to Jalysa for hosting us & everyone who came out and helped make it another enjoyable summer cruise night. We’re already looking forward to next Wednesday!

Last Sunday (June 14), my brother Kirk and I made our way over to the Pictou County Antique Car Club’s Show & Shine in New Glasgow. Before heading to the show field, we stopped in at a local restaurant and enjoyed a great meal while catching up with a few fellow car enthusiasts.
From there, it was on to the main event!
The show featured a fantastic variety of vehicles, from antiques and classics to hot rods, muscle cars, and specialty vehicles. It was great to spend the afternoon walking the grounds, checking out all the hard work and craftsmanship that owners have put into their rides.
One of the best parts of any car show is the people. We had the chance to reconnect with some old friends, make a few new ones, and share stories with fellow enthusiasts who all share the same passion for the hobby. Events like this remind us that it’s not just about the vehicles—it’s about the friendships, conversations, and community that come with them.
A big thank you to the Pictou County Antique Car Club and all the volunteers who helped organize another enjoyable event. We had a great time and are already looking forward to the next one!

Last Sunday, my brother Kirk and I made our way over to the Pictou County Antique Car Club’s Show & Shine in New Glasgow. Before heading to the show field, we stopped in at a local restaurant and enjoyed a great meal while catching up with a few fellow car enthusiasts.

It was another fantastic Cruise-In Night, last Wednesday, at Gia's Diner & Treats! (June 10, 2026)
The lot filled up with a great mix of vehicles, the weather was beautiful, and there were plenty of familiar faces and new enthusiasts enjoying the evening. It’s always great to see the automotive community come together for a relaxed night of cars, conversation, and friendship.
A sincere thank you to Jalysa and her staff for continuing to host these weekly gatherings and providing such a welcoming place for everyone.

What a great way to spend a Saturday in Central Nova Scotia!
My brother Kirk, myself, and several other local car enthusiasts had the opportunity to attend the 5th Anniversary Celebration hosted by NOVUS Glass Truro. We were proud to put our vehicles on display and spend the day chatting with fellow automotive enthusiasts while supporting a fantastic cause.
The event featured classic cars, a bake sale, raffle draws, and a free BBQ, all while raising funds for the Boys & Girls Club of Truro & Colchester. It was wonderful to see a local business giving back to the community and helping support programs that make a difference in the lives of local youth.
A special thank you to the generous team at Novus Glass Truro for the complimentary hot dogs and refreshments, and for hosting such a welcoming, community focused event. The weather cooperated, the cars looked great, and the smiles on everyone’s faces made for a memorable day.
Events like this remind us that the car hobby is about much more than vehicles, it’s about friendships, community, and supporting worthwhile causes.
