Primrose Yellow, chrome bumper era, before the regulations ruined them. This is the MGB from the sweet spot: independent front suspension with the anti-roll bar still intact, twin carbs still feeding the engine the way the factory intended, and that classic British look without the ugly rubber bumpers that came later.

No computers, no electronics. Just air, fuel, and physics.

Only 500,000 MGBs were built between 1962 and 1980, and these are only getting harder to find in honest original condition.

Did you know that we have a “rodent repellant spray” that we can use on vehicles so that rodents don’t chew on all of your wiring harnesses and get into the upholstery?

Since the 90s, manufacturers have been making vehicles with soy-based wires all throughout, and rodents and squirrels and other creatures enjoy chewing on these wires and causing havoc in your vehicle.

Our rodent repellant spray doesn’t smell like anything and is super easy for our mechanics to spray under your vehicles and in all the places that rodents get to.

This spray is one of the most bitterest substances known - basically, as soon as a rodent or a little squirrel tries to take a lick of a wire, they will get a sour tasteful and won’t want to chew out your wiring anymore!

It’s great if you have a fleet of vehicles that are out in the woods and may be easy access, or if you live near the woods yourself and park your car outside at night.

One bad rodent in your car can cause thousands in damages, and it’s an issue we see quite often here.

In fact, it’s such a bad issue that we have been saving all the rats we get from the vehicles (because we don’t want to ever harm them).

We hang them up in our shop so they always have some wires to chew on but never customer vehicles!

We want to thank so many people for making this happen, but in reality it takes every single person who was here to make this happen.
What a beautiful sense of community, the vibe was off the charts and just a couple bad decisions were had. A perfect sunset to end the day as we finally leave for the night. We appreciate every single one of you. You rock!

Introducing our new apprentice, Savannah Hamilton, that is starting here next month!

Savannah is the absolute top of her class in the Marine Trades Initiative program through Irving Shipbuilding, taking the Welding course at NSCC Akerley campus. At just 21 years old, she’s already got a wide range of experience under her belt. She’s always up for a laugh and fits in perfectly here with our team!

One of Savannah’s gifts is her amazing welding skills. Welding is a real art, and it’s all about the speed, voltage, and the time spent on every weld - a bad weld will look messy and affect the strength of the fuse, where a good weld is uniform and will show a stereotypical ripple pattern where the weld was fused.

With softer metals like aluminum, or more difficult techniques like TIG welding, most mechanics are not going to get the cleanest job done.

Savannah, however, is one of the best at her craft here. Her dad taught her to weld, and she’s run with it ever since. She has experience with every single welding process and most types of metal, holds 6 CWB tickets across all four positions of flux core and flat and horizontal stick, and even spent a week at Irving Shipbuilding working on the Canadian Coast Guard and River Class Destroyer.

Check out the welds she did on this larger-than-life die, where she punched in all of the holes and welded all of the sides together.

What that means for you: With Savannah on our team, we’ll be able to take on more complex fabrication and repair work - think custom brackets, structural repairs, aluminum bodywork, and builds that most shops would turn away.
