Two main differences between wet carbon and dry carbon mirror covers:

1. The weave
Dry carbon usually has a cleaner, more uniform carbon weave, while wet carbon can look more inconsistent.

2. The construction
Dry carbon mirror covers are fully carbon fiber. Wet carbon mirror covers usually have a plastic base, often ABS, with a layer of carbon fiber on top.
