Plane Chains We are a Canadian aviation upcycling company. ​Our goal is to make aviation history accessible to all.

We do so by producing hand crafted keychains, cut from real aircraft, and engraving them with a design, registration and edition number.

Introducing the de Havilland Canada DHC-7 Dash 7, C-GCPY, our second official collaboration with Air Tindi!

Built in 1984, this legendary four-engine STOL aircraft has a remarkable history spanning three continents. After beginning its career in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, the aircraft found its home in Greenland in 1988, operating as OY-CTC with Greenlandair, later Air Greenland, under the name Minniki.

For nearly 24 years, the aircraft navigated Greenland's rugged Arctic landscape, connecting remote communities where aviation remains an essential lifeline. In 2012, it began a new chapter with Air Tindi in Yellowknife, Canada, continuing its legacy of operations in the demanding Canadian North.

Now, a piece of that history can be yours.

Crafted from the authentic fuselage and wing skin of C-GCPY, each Plane Chains tag preserves a tangible piece of this remarkable aircraft's story.
