My last day in Ghana, it’s been a beautiful experience seeing the people, exploring the country and most importantly understanding my roots.

First generation Canadians need to be extremely grateful that our parents made difficult sacrifices to give us a better life in North America. Now it’s time to grind every single opportunity we get so we can help the people back home.

Cape Coast, Ghana !! Left at 7 am which was 3 am y’all time to come here and visit the Slave Castle. The stories the tour guide told us were unbelievable.

If you were a slave and you tried to fight back they would lock you in a small room that had no air circulation, no food, no water, no bathroom until you died then bring your lifeless body out to show the other slaves what would happen if you were disobedient.

Standing in that same room today I asked myself what would I do in that same situation? That’s a difficult answer.
