It's been quite some time since we've posted anything here so this long overdue. As most of you will know we do a program called Fix it Forward where we help someone out with a free repair. The usual process is that we open nominations and people email us and we choose someone who is the best fit for the program. The time was coming up when we were going to do that but an opportunity came up for us to help one of our existing customers. We were very happy to offer a small help to a good person and later in the year we hope to do it again. :-)

Christmas Post incoming! Two pieces of news leading up to Christmas. First, we will be closing for the full week of Christmas and opening again on January 2nd. However, I will be checking phone messages and emails in case anyone needs some emergency assistance. Second piece of news is that we have chosen our latest Fix it Forward recipient and are hoping to have the repairs done before Christmas! I will post some more details when its all done. Hey folks. Finally have an update on the Fix it Forward nominations. As usual things always take longer then planned. lol I was away for a week and we've been busy with tire services at the shop but I'm happy to say I'll soon be able to notify the latest winner. I have a little more work to do but I'm hoping we can make someone's Christmas just a little more bright. Stay tuned...

It's finally time once again to do our part to help out someone in need. We are officially opening nominations for our Fix it Forward program. You can nominate someone you know or yourself for this free repair program. The successful person will receive a free repair of approximately $500 in value. There is no set criteria but the winner will be chosen based partially on need and the best fit as determined by us. Nominations must be sent by email to [email protected] and all information will be kept in the strictest confidence. Nominations will remain open until end of day on Oct 20th. Please be sure to include the vehicle details, the possible repair or concern, and contact information. The repair will be completed sometime in the following week or 2. We look forward to helping someone keep their vehicle safely on the road. Cheers. :-) NOTE: I had the email wrong! But it is now correct.

Time certainly flies by when you're busy and boy have we been busy! I wanted to take a brief moment to make a couple of quick notes. We have now been open for 2 years and we don't really advertise and yet we stay quite busy with more new customers every day. I have to say a huge thank you to our current customers who have referred others to our little shop. We greatly appreciate it, because not only does it keep us going, but it shows that you support what we do and how we operate. Many thanks. Based on our current schedule we are booking about a week in advance for most repairs, but we can squeeze in a tire repair or an oil change a little quicker so please keep that in mind if you call the shop. Speaking of calling the shop we don't have a person at reception so please don't be discouraged if your call isn't answered. Please leave a message and I will do my best to respond as soon as possible. Remember you can also email at [email protected] or message us right here on FB. Lastly we will be finally opening up our Fix it Forward nominations sometime this weekend so keep your eyes open. Cheers and have a great Labour Day weekend.

Hey everyone. What a spring/summer it has been at Dynamic. We have hired a 3rd full time staff member and we are busy keeping cars safe and on the road. We are opening up our Fix it Forward to nominations again and while I will make a dedicate post in a bit it's basically a free repair up to about $500 in value. This will make our 4th free repair and I have to say a huge thanks to our customers who donate to the program, we greatly appreciate your support in helping out some folks who could use a little help keeping their vehicle safe. Hey folks. Another story to share from this past week. A customer had just bought a used vehicle and he came to us because the transmission was slipping. Turns out the transmission had developed a leak and had run out of fluid essentially damaging the transmission. After we told the customer I received a call from the previous owner. He had some questions and in the end he wanted to pay to have a used transmission installed in the car he sold. To be clear, he was in no way responsible for the leak and had sold the car at least some weeks before the leak happened. He arranged to have a used transmission delivered to our shop and asked us to install it and he would pay for the work. We're talking at least 7 hours of labour plus the cost of a transmission on a vehicle he doesn't own. We did the work and it had some challenges. In the end we decided that since he was willing to help someone else out in this way it was a great candidate for our Fix it Forward program. We covered $400 of the installation and he paid the remainder. There are good people out there, and we are glad to help out whenever we can. Be good to each other out there. Cheers :-)
