Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we remember the children who never returned home and honour Survivors, their families, and Indigenous communities who continue to feel the lasting impact of the residential school system.

Reconciliation begins with listening and learning, and requires an ongoing commitment to action. We encourage everyone to reflect, listen to Indigenous voices, and carry that commitment beyond today.
