To the people using the horse shoe pits.
I have had a couple complaints about load foul language up in the horse shoe pits and a lot of w**d smoking.
There is NO need for foul language’ This is a family campground with kids in the park and they don’t need to hear that language’ So keep your voices down and NO more foul language.
For the w**d or pot smoking it is legal to do it now but you can’t do it here at the park in the common areas where kids are around and neighbours close by, they don’t want to smell it’ so do it on your own lot. That includes the Horse shoe pits ‘Playgrounds’ basketball area and pool area. Please be considerate to your neighbour.
Thanks, Dale

July is over now so anyone that has fee’s owing I will be deleting the tokens until it is paid in full ‘ you have had enough time now to pay the fees. And for anyone that has a Golf Cart they must put their site number on both sides of the golf cart or you won’t be aloud to drive it in this park. Dale

FIRE BAN IN EFFECT – ELGIN COUNTY
(June 5, 2023) – Effective immediately, all open-air and recreational fires are prohibited
anywhere in the City of St. Thomas, Town of Aylmer and the Townships and Municipalities
within the County of Elgin. Open air fires are defined as any fire outside of a building and
include bonfires, campfires, burn barrels, outdoor fireplaces/chimineas or any other fires set in
open air.
Although there is some variation across Elgin County, dry conditions are consistent throughout.
This fire ban is being imposed due to the extreme dryness of vegetation in the area and shall
remain in effect until further notice.
If you discover an open-air fire, it is very important that you report fires immediately to 9-1-1.
Do not delay reporting while attempting to control or extinguish the fire.
All burn permits in these municipalities are now suspended. No burn permits will be issued until
the ban is lifted.
