All in a days work!! Got the major parts of the Z28’s interior in place. New carpet is always a process to get fit in the right spot and sitting nicely before getting holes cut for the seat mounts. It’s a much needed refresh for this 45 year old car.

If you’ve been by the shop in the last few months you’ve probably seen this young lady sanding away on one of the cars in the shop. It’s refreshing to see the younger generation taking an interest and the initiative to look for this sort job at 16 and we are very happy to have her as part of our team.

I think something that doesn’t get talked about enough in this business is the amount of small parts and pieces that all go into a well built restoration. Yes, new stuff can be bought and installed or a rattle can could be all that is needed, but taking that extra time to refresh good original parts is often an under appreciated thing. This early 80’s Camaro is a good example of that. The trim and brackets were all in great shape and were definitely showing their age, but instead of getting new parts or getting a quick matte black spray can treatment these are going to get epoxied, some will get some single stage satin black and others will get primed and painted body colour. Ultimately, whether you see the part or not, when the car is done it will be done right.

We know you’re already tired, but…..
