Quick update on the Chevy truck... last month or so( im behind on my posts)
I sandblasted the cab floor both sides and epoxy primed them. while doing that I found some rust holes so the customer and I decided to remove both rockers and cab corners to sandblast and prime/paint the insides... no major surprises there just one repair panel to put in.
im working on getting that back together now.

I have now stripped and epoxy primed all 4 doors inside and out. I opened up all 4 lower door hems to sandblast and apply a panel bonding adhesive to prevent further rust.

All in All this cab and doors were very rust free but I cant leave rust behind when I know its there!

Porsche 911 update.. working on fine tuning the fender to door fitment on both the left and right sides. Even Porcshe parts dont fit, but I will make it right. Side note this is an amazingly rust free car. I havent found any rust damage yet.

I've had a second job in the shop for awhile along with the Porsche. The 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD is not something super common in the restoration world but I couldn't think of a more worthy project! It will be grtting fully restored back to factory or better.

The first few actual working weeks on the Porsche 911 went really well. I found some issues in the very front of the shut panel but it was a pretty straight forward fix. plus I got to do some fun custom metal shaping so thats a bonus.
