Proud to sponsor the Lakehead University Thunderwolves again for the 2026–2027 season. 🐺🏒

They train early, study late, and still show up to represent Thunder Bay — on the ice at Fort William Gardens, in the Thunderdome, and out in the community with local kids.

If you’ve been in the store, that giant Thunderwolves goalie helmet hanging over the hockey aisle is our way of saying it out loud: we’re with them, season after season.

We’ll be in the stands this year. Hope you will be too! Go Wolves Go. Lakehead University Thunderwolves Hockey Lakehead University Lakehead Athletics

Proud to stand with Isthmus - Thunder Bay.

Our Canadian Tire Thunder Bay Intercity store, along with Canadian Tire Arthur St. store, were honoured to present a $2,900.41 donation to Isthmus Thunder Bay, a local, volunteer-run program that sends kids home with a bag of food for the weekend.

During the week, many children count on school meals. Friday afternoon, that safety net disappears. Isthmus fills that gap, packing nutritious food so hunger does not follow kids home. Every dollar stays here in Thunder Bay and goes straight to feeding children.

Thank you to Amina Abu-Bakare and the Isthmus volunteers for the quiet, steady work you do for families in our city. And thank you to our customers for purchasing the fall mums, as well as supporting our stores in general. Support like this is only possible because you choose to shop local.

No child in Thunder Bay should start the weekend hungry. Together, we can help make sure they don’t.

Proud to sponsor the Thunder Bay Queens U22 team this season. 🏒

This one is close to home. Reno, Service Advisor in our auto shop, has a daughter who plays on the team, and we’re glad to back her and her teammates.

The Thunder Bay Queens Hockey are the competitive division of the Thunder Bay Women’s Hockey Association. They give local players, ages 9 to 22, a strong hockey experience and rely on community sponsors to keep it going.

Good luck this season, Queens. We’ll be cheering you on.
