🎣 THE GREAT BOAT FLOORING DEBATE: VINYL OR CARPET? 🎣

For years, some of our boat manufacturers have probably thought we're a little crazy at Smith’s…

If full vinyl flooring is an option, chances are we're ordering it! 😂

In other markets, a lot of boaters still love carpet. But over the years, we've found that Northern Ontario boaters LOVE their vinyl — especially the anglers.

But which one is actually better? We want to hear from you!

💦 TEAM VINYL
✔️ Fish slime, blood, mud and spilled coffee? Hose it out!
✔️ Dries quickly
✔️ Doesn't hold water like carpet can
✔️ Great for serious fishing and messy days on the lake
✔️ Generally easier to keep looking clean

🧸 TEAM CARPET
✔️ Softer and more comfortable underfoot
✔️ Can provide great traction
✔️ Warmer/cozier feel on those chilly mornings
✔️ Some boaters simply prefer the finished look and feel

And then there's TEAM BOTH… vinyl on the main floor with carpet on the casting decks. 👀

We've made our preference pretty obvious over the years, but maybe Northern Ontario is proving us right! 😂
