Access to Orkney Viewpoint During Highway 837 Closure

*Please note that Highway 837 is a provincial highway and is not maintained by Kneehill County.*

Highway 837, north of Highway 575, is currently closed due to a mudslide.

Orkney Viewpoint remains accessible (bypass Local Traffic Only signs):

• Travelling west on Highway 575 to Highway 836, north to Highway 27, then east back to Highway 837; or

• Travelling on the east side of the Red Deer River, crossing via the Bleriot Ferry, and proceeding north on Highway 838.

Please check Alberta 511 for the latest road conditions before travelling.
