Surprised? Summer months have ~30% more traffic fatalities than winter. Winter feels more dangerous, but summer is actually deadlier.

❄️Winter danger is obvious: it is environmental. You see the snow, the ice, the low visibility. You slow down. You focus. Most incidents happen at lower speeds, often ending in minor damage.

☀️Summer danger is invisible: it is behavioral.
Dry roads. Clear skies. Perfect grip: no more slides or slippage on ice, snow and slush.
You trust the car more.
You carry more speed.
You take bigger risks without even realizing it.
Add longer road trips, higher highway speeds, more motorcycles, and “seasonal drivers” back on the road—and the stakes rise fast. When something goes wrong in the summer, it’s far more likely to be fatal.

🌦️Spring is also tricky: it’s the transition season.
Cool mornings. Hot afternoons. Sudden rain. Constantly changing grip. It’s unpredictable—and that’s what makes it dangerous.

Confidence comes from conditions. Control comes from training. If you’re driving faster this season, make sure your skills are keeping up.
