Taylor Speedway
JULY 31 - AUG 2 HIGHLIGHTS & NOT SO HIGHLIGHTS
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that has asked me to keep coming back to the Speedway this entire season.
I know I'm kind of slow getting photos out to you guys that ask, but it seems a lot of you seem to understand the amount of work I not only put into your guys photos, but all the other photos that I do and I'm sure we ALL understand how little time there is after work and stuff to really get the "side" stuff done, especially also being a car guy and having my own stuff to constantly fix on top of trying to make it to every single event I can whether my junk runs or not just to get pics 'cause it's what I love to do LOL
It really does make it feel kind of homely knowing you all want me there. It's been an amazing season getting to know you all and I've enjoyed every minute of it. These events are an absolute blast for a gearhead like myself, and I think anyone who loves motorsport of any kind can appreciate the way you guys drive your rigs. (And really, who gets tired of screaming V8s in ANY setting?)
It's genuinely impressive. I'll be honest that I don't know the right people to tag, but I do have to throw a special personal thank you and shout out to those that I do know, besides the Speedway itself, of course.
Jeremy LaFountain, for asking me to come down in the first place last year.
Jim C***s - For being super supportive of what us photographers do for the tracks, teams and drivers. Guys like you really do push me to keep trying harder.
Rowdy Fry Co. - For keeping me fed. You guys are seriously too damn good for your own good. You should honestly open a chain. I'd eat at your guys' place over any fast food restaurant in town, even if I had to wait a couple minutes longer for food.
And of course the PDRA and Competition Well Services for hiring me/sponsoring my time down at the track this weekend. I was gonna try and be down there either way, but really threw some extra effort in for these guys. Throw a dog a bone and he'll come running, as the old saying goes. ;)
I hope you all enjoy some of what I had to capture this weekend, and there is also a small sneak peek at the reason I couldn't make it for the King of the Hill challenge and stuff at the beginning of Saturday's events... (If ya know, ya know...)
Throw my page a follow/like/whatever we call it these days if you wanna see more where this came from, and don't hesitate to reach out if you are looking for pictures of your car! Prints or social media res digital files are available! And here's to the next one! 🤘🤘🤘
