At Rapid Auto, we’re proud to have a team with experience—and Scott brings just that.
Scott has been a Licensed Automotive Service Technician since 2002, with over 20 years of hands-on experience, especially with Ford vehicles. His specialties include diesel performance and gas performance, and he’s also worked on some incredible exotic vehicles along the way.
One of the vehicles he’s enjoyed driving? A 2007 Ford GT!
Outside the shop, Scott has always had a passion for adventure. Growing up, he loved flying in airplanes, and today you’ll find him spending his time fishing, hiking, and mountain climbing.

In honour of International Women’s Day, our Rapid Auto Monthly Meet the Team feature is all about Sara.

Alongside Derrek, she’s a proud co-owner of Rapid Auto. Sara is a mom to Lily, a registered nurse and handles HR, OHS, and marketing/social media for the shop. You can often find her around the shop asking plenty of questions and learning something new every day. 😆

Her dream car is a 1968 Ford Mustang, but she’ll drive just about anything that won’t attract mice. When’s she’s not at the shop, you’ll find her reading fantasy books, singing karaoke (if you know, you know), or heading to the mountains.

International Women’s Day is about celebrating the women in our lives and recognizing the impact of women supporting women. When women come together and lift each other up, entire communities thrive. There are so many incredible women-led and women-operated businesses in the Sylvan Lake community, and we love supporting them. Be intentional this month and support a women-owned or women-operated business.

🚗 Meet the Team at Rapid Auto 🔧- This month we’re excited to introduce Dylan. Yes, Dylan not Derrek. They are brothers! Dylan has 20 years customer service experience and he is currently completing his first year apprenticeship for parts technician. He’s our shop Service Manager. Dylan is eager to continue his education to learn everything he can about the automotive service industry. Dylan’s favourite vehicle ? 1980 Toyota Hilux 🚙 When he’s not at the shop or studying, he’s playing competitive video games, making music or running his own music label. Be sure to say hi 👋 to Dylan next time you’re in the shop!
