🦃 HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM AKHLUT AUTOMOTIVE! 🍂

Around here, we know a thing or two about hard work, lending a hand, and showing up for the people who matter. And this Thanksgiving, we want to take a minute to say THANK YOU.

Thank you to every customer who trusts us with their vehicles. Every person who recommends us to a friend, shares our posts, supports our local business, or sends someone our way — you’re a big part of why we keep turning wrenches.

Running a small business isn't always easy, but having a community behind you makes one hell of a difference.

We hope your weekend is filled with good food, great company, full plates, and absolutely no check engine lights! 🔧

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! We're grateful to have you in our corner.

Thankful for our customers. Proud of our roots. Always glad to be part of this community.

We are closed for the long weekend. Normal business hours resume October 13th at 8:00 AM. We have limited appointments available. Please call 306-778-2886 to secure yours!

Owning a vehicle in Saskatchewan is less about transportation and more about survival. It doesn't believe in gentle driving conditions all the time. So, if your vehicle needs a little help surviving another Saskatchewan winter, we are hear to help keep it on the road.

We were recently asked a question that got us thinking.... who is our favourite kind of customer?

🚨 FAIR WARNING: HOLD ONTO YOUR HATS. 🚨
This might be the longest social media post we've ever written. 😂

But there's a reason.

Every once in a while, “thanks for your business” just doesn't cut it.

OUR FAVOURITE KIND OF CUSTOMER?

The one who tells their friend about us.

Not because they were asked to.

But because they had a good experience and thought:

“You should take your vehicle there.”

That means more to a small business than people probably realize.

Because we know what it takes to earn your money.

We know you work hard for it.

And we know that trusting someone with your vehicle — and your hard-earned money — isn't something we take for granted.

So when you come back to us…

When you send your spouse or your kid to us…

When you tell your neighbour…

When you recommend us to the guy at work…

When someone walks through our doors and says,

“My buddy told me I needed to bring it here.”

That's the good stuff!

That's how a small business grows.

Not by being the biggest.

By taking care of people well enough that they want to tell someone else.

To every customer who has trusted Akhlut Automotive, supported us, shared our posts, recommended us, sent someone our way, or simply kept coming back:

Thank you.

We genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

You work hard for your money.
We work hard to be worthy of it.

And if you actually made it to the end of this novel…

Thanks for reading. And thanks for being one of our people.

Now go tell your friends about us or send us a google review, we appreciate you more than you know. 😉

HARVEST IS A GOOD TIME TO SAY THANK YOU. 🌾

Around here, we know what hard work looks like.

We were raised around people who get up early, put in the hours, solved problems when things don't go according to plan, and kept going because the job still needs to get done.

That’s part of who we are at Akhlut Automotive.

And during harvest, we’re reminded of it even more.

To our farming community — we see the long days, the early mornings, the breakdowns that couldn't have picked a worse time, and the amount of work that goes into putting food on tables.

But we also know that hard work doesn't only happen in a field.

It happens in shops.
On construction sites.
In trucks.
In offices.
In classrooms.
In businesses.
In hospitals.
At home.

Our customers are all different, but there’s one thing we have in common — we work hard for what we have.

And we know that when you bring your vehicle to us, you're trusting us with money that you worked hard to earn.

We don't take that trust lightly.

So, from our family to yours — thank you.

Thank you for choosing a local business.
Thank you for trusting us with your vehicles.
Thank you for keeping us busy.
And thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and livelihoods.

We see the work you put in.
We respect it.
And we appreciate you.

September has entered the chat.

September seemed to show up without asking permission.

One minute we are talking race weekends, road trips and enjoying summer...

Now Saskatchewan is quietly reminding us that winter exists.

If your vehicle spent the summer working hard, towing, commuting, hauling, road-tripping or collecting a ton of dust and mud... it might be time to see what summer did to it.

Call the shop today, we have limited appointments. 306-778-2886

Three vehicles. Three completely different jobs.

The daily driver needs reliable transportation.
The diesel needs to earn its keep.
The performance toy needs to perform.

Different vehicles. Different problems. A shop built for what you drive. A shop keeping them doing what they were built to do.

Diesels.

They generally act like they are invincible.

When your workhorse throws a tantrum, bring it to Akhlut. We will get it sorted and back to what it does best.

Around here, horsepower isn't a hobby. It's a way of life and a legacy.

This weekend, we had three generations of our family on the drag strip with the SCDRA at the Swift Current Airport. Weekends before that, it's two generations behind the scenes, in the pits or driving monster trucks at shows. That's something we're proud of—not because it's about us, but because it represents what built Akhlut Automotive.

Moments like these are a reminder that our passion for horsepower, performance and motorsports wasn't learned overnight-- it's been passed down through generations. You earn your place. You learn by turning wrenches, getting your hands dirty, solving problems, and putting in the hours long before anyone sees the finished product.

That mindset doesn't stay at the race track—it comes through our shop doors every day. It is the passion that drives us everyday.

Whether we're building horsepower, fixing a diesel that's worked harder than most people, or keeping a family's daily driver on the road, we treat every job with the same pride that's been passed down through generations.

Performance. Hard work. Integrity.

They're not buzzwords to us.

They're in our blood and they'll continue to be for generations to come.

🏁 Built on generations of grit. Driven by a passion that never lets off the throttle.
