Shout out to petroleum engineers. Please inform me what the justification is for higher prices on diesel fuel than on gasoline. Diesel comes off the cracking tower much lower and far less expensive than gasoline. That was the truth when I started my automotive mechanical apprenticeship in 1972 and I believe is still the case today. So would you please justify the modern cost of diesel fuel.

What does it take to keep south Asians from parking in front of the shop to have their lunch when they are playing Uber driver? I asked one to move along after 15 minutes and he at first told me he could park where he wanted to. I told him that it was not public parking lot. His reply was there are no signs. Every window is emblazoned with a sign that says RPM Customer Parking only. He was parked in front of these windows. So he was either an A--hole or could not read the signage. PS after 15 minutes I ask everyone to move along. I have limited parking and it's parking for my customers not general public.

Need clarification on "new" bridge deal. My understanding is the US gets 50% of toll profits. Until it's paid for there are no profits. This just let Dipsh*t run around telling everyone what a deal he made. If this is the case I own Carny and the rest of Canadian politicians and appology.

We are coming into the summer air conditioning season. Here are a few things you should know. The topping up of your auto ac with a substitute refrigerant or refrigerant with stop leak is a very bad idea. All refrigerant substitutes are based on Propane and Butane which are highly flammable. Stop leaks are chemicals that solidify when they come in contact with air and moisture. If the system containing stop leak is opened for any reason the chances are you will be replacing the following to get it working again-every part the refrigerant touches ( compressor, condenser, evaporator, all lines/hoses, accumulator/drier, expansion valves and or***ce tube). Only use pure refrigerants, it's far cheaper in the long run.

Next we come to servicing. Do it yourself-possible but dangerous and potentially expensive. Having certified technicians do it; slightly more expensive but it is done safely and done right. That's for the old R12 and R134a refrigerants. When it comes to the newer R1234YF we are talking another level of equipment and training needed. This refrigerant has an almost zero level of ozone depleting rating and almost zero green house gas rating. Very good for environment. However it is slightly flammable. Not a petroleum product but still flammable. To protect you there are new protocols and procedures that must be followed. The machines made to service these units have built in refrigerant identifiers and vacuum leak detectors an pressure leak detectors. The old machines only checked for vacuum leaks. Most leaks are pressure leaks not vacuum leaks. What this means while servicing is that the machine stops the process if contaminated refrigerant is found or a vacuum leak or pressure leak is found. The machines will not function out of sequence. This is for your safety. But it means a process at least 3 times longer than normal to do a service. You don't want that flammable gas entering the passenger compartment through a leaking evaporator core. The refrigerant is slightly flammable remember. Not flammable like gasoline but it will burn. Speaking of the refrigerant it is very much more expensive than the older refrigerants. Old refrigerant R134a is selling for around 3-4 dollars an ounce and the system holds from 1 lbs. to 2.5 lbs. (about a KG). The new refrigerant contains far less but still very expensive at around 14 dollars an ounce with average system holding less than an 16 ounces (.455 KG).

To be safe and get it done right I urge you to have it done professionally. Remember it is slightly flammable and with the new allowable leakage if you are down on refrigerant and the vehicle is less than 10 years old you have a leak!
Have a safe and happy auto AC season.

Explain how just a few months ago Canada was stupid and would have china take them over if we traded with China. His Trumpness would put 100% tariffs on Canada if we traded with China. I guess overnight China became a valued non threatening trading partner seeing as how the Orange man is going to China to talk trade. Or is he going to put 100% tariffs on Us for trading with China?

Two updates for you: First Ford is recalling F150 pickups for a possible steering/suspension problem. Go online and Type in F150 recalls. It will ask for your vehicle identification number input. Vin is on door id plate and at base of windshield drivers side. The second is that GM is requiring 0w40 dexos1 Gen 3 oil be used in all 2019 to 2025 Chevrolet/GMC pickups with 6.2 liter V8 engines. You must use 0w40 oil to keep your warranty in effect. Mobil 1 Supercar oil is the only oil that meets this specification at the time of this post.

Just so you know.

Canada's loss to Denmark is directly tied to Yannick Hansen showing the Danes that they could play against NHL players and win.
