**Macro Mechanical – Steam Truck Operator | Fort McMurray, AB**
Join a crew that keeps the oil sands moving. We’re hiring Steam Truck Operators for a **14 days on / 7 days off rotation, dayshift**. **Shifts may change in accordance with customer demand.**
**What You’ll Do**
- Operate mobile steam units to pressure wash heavy duty mining equipment including haul trucks, dozers, excavators, loaders, and graders
- Perform equipment de-icing, thawing, and wash-downs for maintenance crews in shop and field locations
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections, maintain wash logs, and follow all site wash bay procedures
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions, adhering to site-specific, environmental, and OH&S standards
- Ensure proper handover and communication at start and end of shift
**What You Get**
- **Rotation**: 14 on / 7 off, **12 hours a day, dayshift** — shifts may change with customer demand
- **Pay**: Competitive hourly rate + OT after 44 hrs/week per Alberta ESA
- **Travel**: Paid flights from Calgary or Edmonton to Fort McMurray
- **Accommodations**: Camp or company-paid housing provided while on shift
- **Training**: Will pay for Q endorsement for the right candidate
**What You Need**
- **Valid Class 3 or Class 5 with Q endorsement**
- H2S Alive, CSO, and First Aid
- Clean 5-year driver’s abstract
- **Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol test**
- **Must take pride in your work**
- **Experience operating mobile pressure washing truck will be considered an asset**
- Experience washing 789s, 785s, D10s, etc. is a strong asset
