There are two vehicles I don't enjoy working on. 😂

RAM 4500/5500 chassis cabs and Peterbilt 579s.

Lots of modules, lots of diag, parts can be a pain to get, and sometimes the support just isn't there.

We still work on them.

Just doesn't mean we have to like it.

What separates a good fleet owner from a bad one?

Honestly, laziness.

Good fleet owners build the systems they need for maintenance, pre-trips, load security, training, and delivery.

You can't expect people to do a job properly if you haven't given them the systems and training to do it.

One of the biggest things that shaped how I run Legendary.

I used to work for an owner who would come into the shop, talk to the mechanics, and actually know everyone's name.

That stuck with me.

The people are what make the business. Without the team, there is no business.

My favourite vehicle to work on is one I don't own. 😂

Working on trucks all day is one thing.

Working on your own s**t after a 10–12 hour shift? That's a different story.

That engine light might not be as small of an issue as you think.

An engine light can mean a lot of different things, especially when it comes to the engine or after-treatment system.

If you're heading out on a trip, get it checked before you end up with a D-rate, a breakdown, or a missed load.
