235,364 km on the original rear u-joints in this 2007 Silverado 2500HD — and they were NOT coming out by hand.

Good thing the Milwaukee M18 FUEL doesn't ask twice. Pressed both caps out clean, new Moog and Neapco joints going in.

Preventative maintenance isn't glamorous — but neither is a transmission rebuild. 🔧

This 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan got the full treatment: transmission service with new fluid and filter, plus a reseal on the transmission side cover while we were in there.

Fresh fluid, fresh filter, no leaks. That's how you keep a transmission alive.

Heating the cab by idling the whole truck is an expensive way to stay warm.
A Class 8 truck can burn about 3 litres of diesel every hour it idles. A Webasto Air Top 2000 STC uses roughly 0.12-0.24 litres per hour, depending on output.
At about $2.64/L diesel, idling for heat is roughly $7.92 an hour. The Webasto sips about $0.32-$0.63 an hour. Over one 10-hour cold night, that is roughly $73-$76 staying in the tank instead of being burned to stay warm.
For fleets, the math scales fast. Fewer idle hours can mean less fuel burned, fewer engine hours, less aftertreatment loading and more control over winter operating costs.

Two very different machines. Same problem: winter.

Install one: a Ford Transit that's travelled all over North America. The owner went to Webasto for help, and Webasto sent them to us. We pulled the old AT 2000ST and put in a new Air Top 2000 STC, plus a Thermo Top Evo for easier cold starts. Tight fit, but we made it work.

Install two: a Cat payloader where the block heater just wasn't cutting it. Full custom Webasto install, with the timer programmed so it's warm and ready when the operator needs it.

Trucks, vans, loaders, trailers — if it works through a Canadian winter, it deserves proper heat. Message us and tell us what you're heating.
