Good morning! On this week's Steele the Spotlight, we are introducing Kevin Pender, Parts Manager at Steele Mazda St.John's & Collision Experts - By Steele Auto Group!

What was your first job? My first job was unloading freight at Consumers Distributing back in 1986.

Where is your happy place? My happy place is when I'm doing something outside. Whether taking my dog Ryder for a walk, shoe shoeing, going for ride on my mountain bike or working in the yard.

What is one accomplishment in your life that you are proud of? One accomplishment I am most proud of is being the best son I could be. My mom passed away recently, and someone said to me that if I thought I did everything I could for her and I had no regrets then I was a good son.

What is one skill you'd love to learn? The skill I'd love to be able to do is downhill mountain biking.

Why Steele Auto? Tell us what you love about your job! Why Steele Auto? When Steele purchased Mazda from the Penney group in 2017, I came with it. I enjoyed my job then and still do today. I enjoy the challenges it brings every day.

Happy sunny Thursday! On this week's Steele the Spotlight, we are introducing you to Victoria Snook, Accounting Clerk at Steele Mazda St.John's!

My first job was a warehouse worker picking and packing orders for Tsumura Canada.

My happy place is sitting around the fire telling stories with family and friends.

I would say my biggest accomplishment is my family. My husband Jeremy and my daughter MacKenzie are my everything!

The skill that I would love to learn is to learn how to cook like a gourmet chef and be more adventurous with food.

Why Steele Auto? I love my job as an Accounting Clerk. I enjoy learning new things and dealing with customers. I would have to say the thing I love the most is the people.

I have met a lot of new people along the way and have developed a lot of great working relationships and even some longtime friends.
