The docks are still in and there's one more long weekend to go, but you can feel it starting to turn. It's been a busy one up here, and a lot of you trusted us with your cars, your tow calls, and the odd cottage-run breakdown along the way. We don't take that lightly.

A couple of reminders worth the repeat: the buses are back on the side roads early, the school zones in South River and Sundridge are 40, and a red flashing stop arm means stop, both directions, every time. And with the days getting shorter, that drive home is in the dark sooner than you think, so if your headlights are dim or your wipers are streaking, get them sorted.

𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽.

The cottage rush eases off a little, the back-to-school crowd starts booking, and the light's gone golden by the time we close up. It's our favourite stretch, honestly…busy but not frantic, and everybody's still in a good mood from the summer.

Thanks for a steady season so far, Almaguin. Plenty of road left in it yet.
