Update on the business side of things, we are pausing operations for the time being. Union activities has really ramped up as we try to find an avenue back to work. Once the strike is over we are planning to resume regular services but currently I dont have the time or energy to detail and fulfill my union duties. Straight up the long days in the sun and on the pavement kicks my ass and 3 months in im feeling it lol. We are also dealing with an extremely fluid schedule with dates and times changing all the time which makes it hard to book as well...Anyway, we thank you for the support. And hey, come out out to the opseu car wash if you need some tlc

Thursday August 20th at tsc in simcoe, 830 to noon. Come meet the nacl workers you've seen on the streets for the last 3 months

Unfortunately the OPSEU/NACL strike continues. The good news, the union is washing cars on the cheap.

This Thursday come on down to the peavey mart, or as most of us know it...tsc parking lot and get your ride freshened up.

There is talk of possibly have a drink table, maybe some treats, dinosaurs? And who knows what else. Im sure music and dancing and good energy

Going forward we will require pictures to be sent in before giving out a quote.

Unfortunately both us as a business and our client had a bad experience today due to poor communication from both us, and the client. We want to avoid an issue like this going forward and will be requiring pictures of vehicles state before giving a quote. Being told one thing and showing up to something completely different isn't ideal. But we learn from these experiences and will make adjustments to try to avoid this issue going forward, we will also be sure to reach out to clients sooner when something is off with a job or not going as expected.

We apologize to the client for the less than great experience and hope the new precautions avoid this in the future.

Owen knocked out this elantra today, being sent home feeling and looking like day 3 off the lot.

Reach out to book in, we can squeeze a couple more in next week

Sooo, things have changed again. Ryan and Jill (our landlords) have presented us with an amazing offer allowing us to keep the garage in waterford a while longer. That being said we are still open to both drop off and mobile appointments but we are actually looking busy starting friday with 3 jobs booked over the weekend and into next week with a few more in the process of booking in.

The support has been unreal, we were a bad day away from folding up and now momentum actually seems to be building for us, so please, reach out, text, call, email. It doesnt matter, we will get back to you as soon as we can to get you a slot.

Unfortunately we are heading into our final week at the waterford location. We arent going away, though. We will be moving to a mostly mobile service as we were when we originally launched a couple years ago. Same team, same tools, just with more convenience for you.

A huge thank you to Ryan and Jill for putting up with us the last couple months, we really enjoyed having the space out there and got to do a couple fun projects. Shout out to greg for taking us to school a bit as well.

Going forward when booking I sadly still need to work around my picketing hours as the OPSEU Local 204 (and many other locals province wide) strike, and the push for funding from the Onrario government to expand programs and reduce waiting lists for those that require the types of services and care developmental support workers and places like Norfolk Association for Community Living (NACL) and Community Living Access (CLASS) provide continues into its 3rd month. I greatly appreciate everyones patience with this.

That all being said, we do still have Owen available to send solo in a pinch, Keith is still on board as well. So please, if you need some service, reach out and before you know it you'll feel like youre just taking your fresh, clean ride out for a test drive or driving it off the lot for the first time again.

Finally, a collection of shots from some of the work we did while in Waterford.

Well, it took a couple days (only 3 hours of work) but we managed to neutralize and clean a gasoline spill in a lexus. Poor guy said he spilled about a liter in the back of his suv.

It took our 3 step upholstery cleaning process that includes an enzyme product to tackle this one along with steaming to remove some rubberized backing that had melted from the gas and transfered onto the carpet and solidified, with a 98% success rate, the rest could be trimmed off with a razor if the client wanted. Finished with a shampoo and oxi finisher to brighten things up and neutralize any remaining soap after extracting.

Cabin filter replaced with a fresh activated charcoal one after the cleaning was completed and he should be good to go.

This was a first for us, but seems like we won the battle in the end.

Also received a 300% tip and some wisdom about actually making money to have a business lmao (i originally tried to do the work for free)...so...thats awesome.
