IMPORTANT ROAD SAFETY UPDATE

The Société de l'assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ) has announced new measures coming into effect June 15, 2026, aimed at improving road safety across Quebec.

Key updates include:
• Zero alcohol tolerance for 24 months when adding a motorcycle class
• Restrictions on high-risk motorcycles for new riders
• Immediate 7-day licence suspension for dangerous driving or reckless action
• Zero alcohol requirement for learner’s licences when adding a class
