This Boxster sat for over 4 years with no working key. The customer was quoted nearly $3,800 for a new PAS module and key.

Instead, they shipped us the PAS module from Quebec. We repaired the corrupted immobilizer data, programmed 2 keys + 2 PAS modules, and shipped everything back plug-and-play. 🔧

2021 Nissan Sentra B18 – Used EPS Programming & Immobilizer Recovery

Customer installed a used Electric Power Steering (EPS) unit. The vehicle would not start after installation.

The Nissan dealership advised that they could only program a brand-new EPS unit, with a replacement cost of approximately $2,800, rather than programming the used unit.

Initial DTCs:
• P161F-00
• B2033-4A

What we performed at Auto Diagnostics:
• Virginized the used EPS module
• Wrote the correct vehicle configuration
• Programmed VIN
• Programmed immobilizer data
• Cleared the related DTCs
• Performed a complete system scan and verification

After programming, we rescanned the vehicle — the DTCs were gone and the vehicle started successfully.

🚨 ALL KEYS LOST — 2019 Audi S5 & 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI 🚨

Two different vehicles. Same location. Same problem. 🔑❌

Both the 2019 Audi S5 and 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI came in with an all-keys-lost situation, requiring advanced diagnostic procedures to restore vehicle access and functionality.

Using specialized diagnostic equipment, we completed the necessary key adaptation, immobilizer procedures, coding and programming to get both vehicles back up and running. ✅

When all the keys are gone, it takes more than simply cutting a new key — proper diagnostics and programming are critical to getting the vehicle securely operational again.

2016 Land Rover Discovery came to us with a tricky problem: no remote lock/unlock, and the engine would only start using the transmitter pocket under the steering column.

Multiple shops turned the customer away because there were zero Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) in the system.
At Auto Diagnostic, we don’t just cut keys—we dive into advanced module programming and coding.

What we found & fixed:
Diagnosis: Classic KVM (Keyless Vehicle Module) flash corruption—a common Land Rover issue that leaves no fault codes.

The Root Cause: Internal EEPROM/flash corruption within the KVM software loop, which severs radio frequency (RF) reception or processing for remote key fobs while leaving the immobilizer antenna circuit intact.

The Solution: Reflashed the KVM module to the latest factory software level.

The Result: Re-registered the original key, programmed a brand-new spare key requested by the customer, and restored full remote functionality!

2025 Mitsubishi Outlander – All Keys Lost

This vehicle came straight from auction after an accident. Initially, several modules were not communicating due to electrical damage from the collision. After completing the necessary electrical repairs, communication was fully restored.

The 2025 Mitsubishi platform normally requires the Mitsubishi MUT dealer tool for key programming. However, Mitsubishi currently restricts access for many independent locksmiths and repair shops in Canada.

Despite the challenge, we successfully programmed a new key and got the vehicle back on the road—without relying on dealership services.
