A clean engine gives you better fuel economy. Follow your owner’s manual for oil change intervals. The longer you go on old dirty oil, the more resistance the engine has. This will cause your gas mileage to go down. Considering the winter were having we need the best gas mileage we can. If you are unsure about the intervals, come stop by and we can show you the manufacturers recommendations right on our screens.

You should use the proper grade if oil for your car. Newer modern engines often require lightweight oil such as 0W20 or 0W30. The heavier oils such as 10w30 or 10w40 dont lubricate as well or flow as quickly, which causes increased fuel consumption. Check your owners manual to see what oil is recommended. We are a warranty approved shop, and we carry the oil that the new engines require. If you are still unsure about the oil your car takes, come stop by and one of us will gladly help you.
