Everyone is preparing for winter but what about spring? One way to RUIN your spring is to FORGET TO WINTERIZE your Sea-Doo (or to do it improperly). Sea-Doo engines are cooled by water. Water freezes and EXPANDS. When it expands past the volume the parts of your engine can comfortably contain, those parts CRACK costing you THOUSANDS of dollars. “Why can’t you cover your boat or Sea-Doo with a tarp for winter?”

A tarp and shrink wrap are VERY different things.

Shrink wrap stays so tight, snow slides off.

Tarps on the other hand aren’t “shrunk” around the boat they’re sitting on. They sort of just…sit there.

And when the snow inevitably gets heavier than expected, the whole tarp idea really breaks down.

The only way to truly protect your boat over the winter is indoor storage, or outdoor shrink wrap with a proper support structure underneath it.

Don’t take chances with your next summer vacation. Keep your boat safe this winter. Bring it to Northshore Sports & Auto and we’ll make sure it has a safe winter.
