Two years ago, Tori joined Crestview Auto, and we’ve been lucky to have her ever since! As our Service Manager, she’s the friendly face (and expert mind) behind so many of the experiences our clients love.

🚗 First car? A 2000 diesel Volkswagen New Beetle. It was loud, but she loved it.

📛 Fun fact? Tori names every car she owns. Some past favorites: Bella, Penelope, Trudy, and Cece.

💡 Best advice? Stay on top of oil changes and regular inspections—it’s the secret to keeping your vehicle running smoothly.

💙 Favorite part of working at Crestview? The personal touch of a small business. She loves building relationships with clients and making sure they get honest, transparent service.

Tori, we appreciate everything you do! Here’s to many more years at Crestview! 🎉

Got a question for Tori? Drop it in the comments! ⬇️

Nothing ruins a long weekend like a roadside breakdown…

Long weekends are for camping, road trips, and making memories—not waiting for a tow truck.

Before you hit the road, do a quick vehicle check so you don’t spend your weekend stranded:

✔ Tires: Proper pressure & tread depth = safer handling.
✔ Brakes: Squeaking or soft pedal? Don’t ignore it.
✔ Battery: A dead battery at a campsite? No thanks.
✔ Fluids: Oil, coolant, wiper fluid—check & top up.
✔ Wipers & Lights: Because spring weather can be unpredictable.

🚨 Not sure? Let us check it for you! Book your pre-trip inspection before spots fill up.

If you hear a hissing, ticking, or deep rumbling, it could be a sign of an exhaust leak.

That means carbon monoxide could be getting into your car.

And when toxic fumes sneak into the cabin, they can cause dizziness, headaches, and worse.

Ignoring it can also hurt your fuel efficiency, weaken engine performance, and lead to costly repairs.

Don’t chance it.

If you hear any of theses signs, book an inspection today. 📞

"Crestview Auto Service has some of the most determined and intelligent techs and service writers in the city. I have a 2005 Chevy Blazer—my problem child—that they have diligently worked on many times, and the results are always fantastic! They always stay true to their quotes, and sometimes it’s even less. They are the best!" – Trena R.

Some vehicles need a little extra attention, and we’re always up for the challenge! At Crestview Auto, we believe in honest quotes, quality work, and getting the job done right.

📢 Have we worked on your vehicle? We’d love to hear your experience! Leave a review and let us know how we did.

Drivers, take note: This could be happening to your car too.

Last month, a client brought her car in because her clutch was progressively getting stiffer on her way to work that morning. Unsure if it was just the -30°C weather or something more, she asked us to take a look.

At first glance, everything looked ok. The fluid in the clutch reservoir was clear and there were no obvious signs of trouble.

Instead of jumping straight to costly repairs, we started with the simplest, most logical fix—a system flush.

The fluid that came out was disgusting. Thick, dark, full of debris—nowhere near the clean-looking fluid at the top of the reservoir.

👉 Moral of the story? Don’t just trust what you see.

Fluids break down over time, even if they look okay on the surface. That’s why scheduled maintenance—done by time and mileage, not just appearance—is so important.

Our client’s clutch is back to working perfectly now. And next time, she won’t wait until the cold exposes the problem.

🚗 Want to make sure your fluids aren’t silently breaking down? Book a service today.

🌞 Would you consider a solar-powered car in the future?

Automakers are testing vehicles with solar panels integrated right into the car’s body to supplement electric power. This innovation could help extend the range of Electric vehicles and reduce the need for frequent charging.

While these aren’t mainstream yet, it’s exciting to think about the potential for sunny days to power our commutes!

What do you think— will you be first in line to get one or wait to see how it performs?
