INTRODUCING BEYOND THE CALL

Anyone who works in the towing industry knows that not every call ends when the truck leaves the scene.
We respond to collisions, difficult recoveries, serious injuries, and situations that can stay with us long after the job is done. We show up, do our jobs, and move on to the next call. But sometimes, moving on isn't that simple.
And too often, we don't talk about it.
That's why I'm proud to introduce Beyond the Call — a Canadian mental health and trauma resource initiative created specifically for Canada's towing industry.
The goal is simple: to create a place where towing professionals, their families, coworkers, and employers can find information, guidance, and resources for the difficult side of this industry that we don't always talk about.
This isn't about telling anyone how they should feel. It's not about labels, judgment, or expecting everyone to react the same way. And it's not a replacement for professional help.
It's about recognizing that it's okay to not be okay. You don't need a diagnosis. You don't need to be in crisis. And you don't have to justify why a call affected you.
We're starting with a resource-focused website, and this is just the beginning. There's still work to do, resources to build, and a long way to go — but every meaningful change has to start somewhere.
