Experienced Automotive Journeyman Technician

Position Type: Full-Time

Action Safety Service Ltd. is a growing automotive repair company known for quality work, integrity, and strong team culture. With two locations in Salmon Arm, we are focused on building a workplace where skilled professionals can grow their careers while delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are currently looking to add a Journeyman Technician to our team who takes pride in their work and is interested in long -term personal and professional growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles
• Performing inspections, preventative maintenance, and complex repairs
• Using diagnostic tools and equipment efficiently and accurately
• Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work practices
• Communicating clearly with service advisors and team members
• Delivering high-quality workmanship that meets or exceeds industry standards
• Computer skills to complete digital inspections, job notes, and recommendations clearly and accurately

• A licensed Journeyman Technician (Red Seal certification preferred)

Position Type: Full-Time

Action Safety Service Ltd. is a growing automotive repair company known for quality work, integrity, and strong team culture. With two locations in Salmon Arm, we are focused on building a workplace where skilled professionals can grow their careers while delivering exceptional service to our customers. We are currently looking to add an Automotive Repair Shop Manager who has a fundamental technical background that will lead, develop and support a team of technicians while strengthening shop culture and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Manage daily shop operations, workflow, and scheduling
• Perform and oversee diagnostics and repairs as needed
• Handle all quoting and estimating for customer jobs
• Communicate directly with customers regarding repairs and recommendations
• Lead, mentor, and support technicians and shop staff
• Ensure quality control on all completed work
• Maintain shop productivity, efficiency, and organization
• Monitor parts usage, job costing, and profitability
• Ensure safety, environmental, and workplace standards are followed
• Assist with hiring, training, and performance management
• Computer skills to complete and oversee digital inspections, job notes, and recommendations to ensure they are presented clearly and accurately

Who You Are

• Licensed Journeyman Automotive Technician (or equivalent experience)
• Previous leadership or management experience is an asset
