BRAND NEW DOESN’T ALWAYS MEAN PERFECT. 🖤

2026 Ford Bronco | Black on Black.

Straight from the dealership, but the paint told a different story.

Despite being brand new, this Bronco arrived with extensive swirl marks, scratches, and paint imperfections that required far more attention than we would normally expect from a new vehicle.

Typically, a new vehicle requires only one or two stages of paint correction. However, the condition of this Bronco’s finish called for a full three-stage paint correction to bring the black paint to the standard it deserved.

Once the paint was properly refined, we completed the protection package:

▪️ Three-stage paint correction

▪️ GYEON ceramic paint protection

▪️ Leather ceramic protection

▪️ Glass ceramic protection

The result? Deep, rich black reflections and a finish that finally matches the excitement of owning a brand-new vehicle.

Because new doesn’t always mean flawless. And preparation makes all the difference.

There are cars you detail, and there are cars you experience.

The Ferrari 296 GTS is definitely the latter.

This one came to Cartistic needing careful attention, including challenging water spotting on the existing PPF. After addressing the affected areas, I refined and protected the car, ceramic coated the PPF, and gave the wheels, calipers and interior the same level of attention.

Then came my favourite part — the photography.

After more than 22 years behind a camera, I’ve learned that sometimes the smallest details tell the biggest story. The reflections, the lines, the light, the shape — seeing the car through a photographer’s eye is part of the Cartistic experience.

Not simply detailed.

Some finishes can be corrected. This one had to be preserved.

This Maserati GranTurismo 75th Anniversary arrived at Cartistic after the recent smoky conditions here in the Okanagan. A combination of rain, ash and environmental contamination had left the factory matte finish covered in stubborn water spots.

On conventional gloss paint, I would normally have the option of paint correction. But matte paint is a completely different story — I can’t simply polish the imperfections away without potentially changing the finish and creating unwanted gloss.

So this became a much more delicate and tedious job.

I worked carefully, section by section, removing the contamination and water spotting while preserving the original OEM matte finish.

Once I had the paint back to where I wanted it, I protected it with GYEON Q² Matte ceramic coating, specifically designed for matte and satin finishes.

And this one was particularly special to work on. As a 75th Anniversary edition, the paint has an incredible character — the colour changes dramatically depending on how the light hits it.

No added gloss.
No altering the character of the paint.
Just careful restoration, preservation and protection.
