🔧 Getting into the bigger jobs at BGC!

Some repairs take a little more than popping the hood!

With the transmission removed, we’re getting a look at the clutch assembly and the components that keep power transferring from the engine to the wheels.

Jobs like this take time, precision, and a whole lot of hands-on work.

From everyday automotive maintenance to major mechanical repairs, we’re here to help keep your vehicle on the road!

👀 Ever wondered what your vehicle looks like with the transmission out? Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look!

This truck is getting an onboard air compressor and air bags installed. 🔧

But what do they actually do?

Air bags add extra support to the rear suspension when the truck is carrying or towing heavier loads. They can help reduce rear-end sag and allow the suspension support to be adjusted depending on the load.

The onboard compressor makes the setup even more convenient by supplying air to the bags without having to rely on an external air source.

It’s not about increasing the truck’s rated payload or towing capacity. It’s about giving the suspension additional support and adjustability within the vehicle’s existing limits.

Another install underway at BGC. 👌🏼

Do you tow or haul regularly? This might be an upgrade worth looking into.

When you see a truck sitting in the shop with the cab completely removed, there’s a reason for it. 👇

This one needed some deeper work.

🔧 The turbo was leaking
🔧 An injector needed to be replaced
🔧 Cab removed for access to get the repairs done properly

On some diesel trucks, removing the cab gives the technician much better access to the engine and components that would otherwise be extremely difficult to reach.

It might look a little dramatic 😅 — but for Kelty, it’s all part of getting in there, finding the problem and fixing it properly.

And then comes the fun part… putting it all back together. 🔧

Diesel giving you trouble? Strange noises, leaks, loss of power or just not running like it should?

There’s a little more to it than just swapping a part. 🔧

Sometimes getting to the actual repair means tearing things down, getting into some tight spaces, and putting in the time to do the job properly.

This is the kind of behind-the-scenes work you don’t always get to see — but it’s all part of getting your vehicle back on the road and running the way it should.

No shortcuts. Just getting the job done right.

Sometimes the problem tells a bigger story once you start digging into it. 🔧

This one started with a spark plug that definitely caught our attention — and once we got further into the job, there was more to investigate.

It’s easy to replace a part and send a vehicle back out the door. We’d rather take the time to figure out why something happened in the first place.

Because finding the actual cause can save you from dealing with the same problem again.

Vehicle running rough, misfiring, or just not acting right? Let’s get to the bottom of it.

Part 3: We’re all for saving our customers money where it makes sense.

But there’s a difference between finding a cost-effective repair and simply doing the cheapest repair possible.

Cheap parts, shortcuts and temporary fixes might save you money today… but if you’re paying to repair the same problem again, did you actually save anything?

We’d rather be straightforward with you about what your vehicle actually needs.

Part 2: We get it — when your vehicle is down, you want it back ASAP.

We’ll always do what we can to get you diagnosed, repaired and back on the road quickly.

But getting a job done fast can mean rearranging the schedule, prioritizing the repair or expediting parts.

That’s why there’s an old shop saying…

Part 1: You want it done right? So do we.

A proper repair isn’t about throwing parts at a vehicle and hoping something sticks. It starts with finding the actual problem, using quality parts and taking the time to make sure the repair is done properly.

Because doing it twice definitely isn’t cheaper. 😉
