Dash cam and radar reinstall along with some Flat6 Motorsports 10+12mm spacers for the brand new 992.2 Carrera T. Client felt noticeable understeer on a highway exit ramp so we were curious just how much we can squeeze out of a bone stock car for alignment

-1.85 degrees of front camber is what we landed at which is a significant improvement over the stock -1.0 degrees. Tracking on stock alignment will cord the outside of these front tires in no time. Big plans for this 911 down the road though with camber plates to fit wider rubber so stay tuned!

Winter tire swap for a 991 GT3. When you invest in a centerlock gun and things got too easy, so you start playing around with lining up the center caps. Centerlock caps only fit in a single position relative to the nut so lining it up to the stem isn't standard practice and not always possible.

Lovely chalk 718 in for a fresh set of Continental DWS06+ all seasons. A popular choice for these cars that don't see any track time but still want a decent feeling tire that'll be good in the rain. These will be sufficient as well for the "winter tire" restrictions on the Sea to Sky and other designated highways as they're M+S rated. For those that aren't actually going to see deep snow and have other dedicated vehicles for actual winter driving, these are still the top choice.

On our test drive we noticed the alignment felt a bit off so we fixed that as well. No point wrecking your new tires with a bad alignment!

We finally pulled the trigger 😏 after years of our trusty Precision Instruments breaker bar/torque wrench combo and many aching backs/legs, we realized we do too many centerlocks to be doing it the old fashioned way. We've done so many that our retractable breaker bar extension got bent and no longer retracts 😅 .tool makes rhe centerlock torque sequence all of 30 seconds, arguably faster than impacting on 5 bolts and manually torquing after. More importantly so, this makes it a one person job and no one goes home with back pain.

Makes tire patches, rotations, and brake jobs a breeze. With centerlocks making their way onto more pedestrian vehicles like the new Panameras and lower trims of 911 like the Carrera S, these investments will better prepare us for what's to come in the next few years. Centerlocks still make little to no sense for your average P-car owner but we wanted to make things a little easier for us.

Cost for service remains the same but wait times will be a lot less making it a win win for our staff and our clients. Just today we were able to squeeze in a last minute rotor job and brake flush for the lava orange GT3RS thanks to the time saved by this tool.

Yes you need to remove a bunch of underbody panels to do an alignment on the C8 Corvette. No, you don't need to remove the bumper. Bumper removed for Z07 style canards (cutting required) while we did a track alignment and height adjustment on this Z06!

Again front and rear caster dialed along with track camber. These leave the factory at about -1.0 all around, and we like to baseline the Z06 at around -2.0 to -2.2 all around for track.
The big front tires and wide front track do have a tendency to tramline so caution has to be taken not to go overboard.

Another black C8 in for track alignment, this one with Penske shocks and 4 corner AP brakes 😍 Baseline with the OEM track spec for this Stingray with 275/325 staggered AR1. It should be a formidable track toy

Alignment on this platform is not for the inexperienced or faint hearted. Lots of underbody removal for proper access and REAR caster can't be ignored either. Yes it will cost at least twice as much to align this as it does your grandma's Corolla. No you should not be looking for the cheapest price in town, and no the dealer will not give you a proper alignment for $120.

It's that time of year again, time to start thinking about winter tires for your car. We looked around and we've got over 20 sets of wheels we need to clear out. These wheels will be sold AT or BELOW cost to help us make some room.

The air intakes on modern GT cars are a feat of engineering and packaging. However as the factory doesn't really run much of a grille (if at all) these intakes are equally good at sucking up rocks and debris.

While we do stock BMC filters and filter washing kits for many of these applications. Filter replacement is not always needed. This 991 GT3RS needed a good vacuum, blow out and it was good to go again. Bumper or interior re&re is needed for a lot of these Porsches so it's not quite as simple as some might think but we do recommend this as an annual service for track vehicles.
