The air intakes on modern GT cars are a feat of engineering and packaging. However as the factory doesn't really run much of a grille (if at all) these intakes are equally good at sucking up rocks and debris.

While we do stock BMC filters and filter washing kits for many of these applications. Filter replacement is not always needed. This 991 GT3RS needed a good vacuum, blow out and it was good to go again. Bumper or interior re&re is needed for a lot of these Porsches so it's not quite as simple as some might think but we do recommend this as an annual service for track vehicles.

Cayenne in for alignment and wheel balancing. We noticed a giant screw in one of the tires. Somehow it lodged in there sideways without puncturing the tread and got ground down flat. No leaks but an audible click every time that screw touched the pavement.

Does the plastic on the oil filter housing break first or does the gasket fail first? Your guess is as good as ours. Replaced some moldy cabin air filters while we're at it

Beatsonic plug and play amplifier upgrade for the brand new RAV4 GR Sport. Despite being a higher trim, the audio system is definitely lacking. The Beatsonic amp gives a much fuller sound with additional RCA preouts if subwoofers are desired down the road!

Alpinweiss, to some it's just "the free colour" but seeing 3 generations of M together in this paint really solidifies how iconic it is. Z4M coming out of storage for fresh tires and all the fluids (oil, mtf, diff, coolant, brakes) as well as an alignment. Nothing too crazy with the Michelin Pilot Sport AS4 but it's a solid choice for a rainy day like today while still delivering a better dynamic feel compared to your typical all season options. 10mm upsize on the tires fills in the wheel wells nicely along with the subtle lowering springs for an OEM+ stance.

GTA effect continues with a constant stream of green 911's. This PTS British Racing Green GT3 in for Thinkware U3000 + iVolt mini battery. Rennline MagSafe mount and JCR titanium exhaust install with JCR's valve simulators. Although unvalved, with the stock headers the sound is still very reasonable and the weight savings are incredible.

On these lithium batteries, the backup battery is a must if parking recording is desired. This way there's no load on the $4000 factory battery when parked AND you get longer recording time.

Green really is one of the best colours for a 911 isn't it? Brand new 2026 Carrera T in for an airbag system fault that came up shortly after a radar detector was installed. Client is from out of town in a slightly remote area where there aren't a lot of shops that do this type of work. We suspect whoever did it just saw the first video on YouTube on installing radar detectors in a 992 and went to town.

The hardwire kit was installed via mirror tap method. Nothing wrong with this generally but the kit itself wasn't a mirror tap kit so the wires were forced into the overhead harness connector and the excess wire was tucked above the mirror where there isn't a lot of room. This caused an interference with the airbag light in the overhead console which then triggered the fault message on the dashboard. We rewired the hardwire kit and luckily the error message was able to clear on our scanner afterwards.

Brand new GT3 touring in for inspection and oil analysis. Customer recently took this on a 2000km+ road trip and was wondering why the ride was horrendous compared to his previous Carrera. The Touring tends to strike the perfect balance between a track car and a GT car that's great to spend time in, but this just wasn't it.

Upon inspection we realized the dealership (we won't name names) forgot to remove the spring blocks for transport thus giving the car a rock hard ride. Glad we were able to catch this before our client's teeth fell out.

A new client of ours recently had his tires replaced but now that he's on his second set of Michelin PS4S in a short amount of time he decided to address the issue of tire wear and figure out why they keep cording on the inside. Even in a casual daily driver spec, the 911 is still a high performance machine with a lot of adjustability. Both front and rear camber are adjustable and on this particular car with rear steering the rear toe is a bit more complex as well. We've seen many shops will do a quick and dirty "toe and go" alignment and not touch camber at all, which is what we suspected as the toe numbers before were decent.

We noticed both front and rear camber were both a lot more negative than Porsche's spec and upon discussing with the client, we learned that this is a purely street car and won't be driven aggressively in any way. So while it's a departure from how we normally set up a 911, the conservative camber spec should help a lot with tire wear. This client puts over 15000km a year on the car and with a full set of tires costing close to $3000 it's important to make sure they last. While we don't claim to be the cheapest shop in town, we can tell you we're about half of what the dealer charges.
