Fuel Injection Diesel Technician (Vancouver , Canada)
West Coast Fuel Injection & Turbo(0957857 B.C) is seeking a skilled Diesel Injector Technician for our established diesel fuel injector testing facility in Richmond B.C . The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a minimum of 4 years experience working with diesel engines or mechanical equipment. This hands-on role requires a technician who is not afraid to get dirty and is eager to learn and grow in the field of diesel technology.We specialize in the repair of heavy-duty electronic diesel fuel injectors from across North America. Our product line includes servicing a wide range of industries, from local government power generation to on-highway trucks to industrial, marine, and race engines. our shop is equipped with the latest testing and diagnostic tools, is located in Richmond , B.C We pride ourselves in offering 100% customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive testing of diesel fuel injectors.
• Diagnose and identify issues with diesel injectors.
• Write detailed reports documenting test results and findings.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the team to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
• Participate in provided training programs to develop expertise in diesel injector technology.
• Measure fuel delivery and adjust fuel dispenser calibration accordingly
• Install new components where necessary
• Fault diagnosis through physical inspection and testing devices
• Consult manufacturers manuals and specifications
• Complete test and maintenance reports
Requirements:
The candidate should have minimum qualification of other trades certificate or diploma
• Completion of high school
• Completion of relevant manufacturers training or related qualification required
• Related work experience necessay
• Periodic upgrade courses will need to be taken through our manufacturers
Flexible Language Requirement
Term: Full-time
Hours of work: 9:00-5.30 pm
40 hours per week
• Wage commensurate with skill and experience
