Does 620HP at the tires sound fun? IT IS!!!
Gerald was looking to bump up the power on his 2003 CAT 6NZ, and a basic 550 cat flash file was not enough. He wanted to make some real power and not blow things up in the process. That's why he came to us. We discussed his application, power goals and the engine foundation we are starting with. We would never recommend our power increasing products to a customer that does not a have good foundation to build great reliable power. So we decided on PDI's Stage 2 kit (Manifold, Stage 2 turbo and Tuner).
To keep that CAT lubricated under high load we also did a Hot Shot Secrets engine oil flush, installed High Performance Amsoil engine oil, and measured blow by before and after the Sage 2 installation. During the test driver we would get 39psi boost and EGT's never went over 840F.... That's the ticket to reliability!!
Gerald tells us it is running great and EGT's never go over 840F with a load on, no smoke and better fuel economy. That's clean CAT power.
