🦃🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Prairie Pitts Stop Automotive! 🍂

We hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend filled with good food, family, and maybe a little food coma! 😂

Just a reminder that we’ll be closed Monday for Thanksgiving and will be back to regular business hours on Tuesday.

🍁 Fall maintenance and tire changeovers are keeping us busy, and we’re currently booking about 2 weeks out! If you haven’t booked your appointment yet, give us a call sooner rather than later. You don’t want to be caught waiting for winter tires when that first snowfall hits! 🛞❄️

Thank you for keeping our little shop busy and supporting local. We’re thankful for all of you! ❤️

Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving weekend!

🚗 WE WANT YOUR INPUT! 🔧

We’ve been tossing around an idea at the shop and before we make any decisions, we want to hear from YOU — our customers!

What would you think about us moving to a 4-day work week, with the shop being open Monday–Thursday and staying open later each day?

Something along the lines of:
🗓️ Monday–Thursday
⏰ Longer hours each day
🏁 Friday–Sunday CLOSED

The idea would be to give our team a better work-life balance while still giving you more flexibility to get your vehicle in after work.

But here’s the big question…

👉 Would this schedule work for YOU?

Would you prefer:
A️⃣ Longer hours Monday–Thursday
B️⃣ Our current Monday–Friday schedule
C️⃣ Longer hours Tuesday-Friday
D️⃣ Wouldn’t affect us either way

Drop your thoughts in the comments! 👇

We’re listening — because any changes we make need to work for our team AND our customers. ❤️

🔥 Classic car meets modern comfort! ❄️

We recently had the opportunity to retrofit the A/C system on this beautiful ’71 Mustang and bring it into the modern age from R12 to 134A! 🐎

There’s just something special about keeping these classics on the road while upgrading them with some of today’s technology. Now this Mustang can keep cruising in style AND stay cool while doing it! 😎 It was 1 of 63 cars of this year with factory AC.

We love getting the chance to work on unique projects like this — thanks for trusting Prairie Pitts Stop Automotive with your classic!

✨ Unveiling “Gord”

Our shop truck is back from Barries CARS, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the incredible work they did. The bodywork turned out perfectly imperfect — full of character and craftsmanship, just like the man it’s named after.

We asked for the dents to stay — each one tells a story and keeps the spirit of the original truck alive. I’m sure they had a hard time with that request, but it looks amazing!

We’ve officially renamed the truck “Gord,” in honour of Steph’s late father, Gordon Williams — a man who believed in hard work, integrity, and getting the job done right (even if it meant a few bumps and scrapes along the way).

A huge thank-you to Barrie’s Cars for the care and attention to detail you put into bringing this project to life.

Here’s to Gord — both the man and the machine — carrying our family legacy down every road. 💚
