Back in May, we did an R8 & Ice Cream giveaway for cliffsandcombustion

Today, we finally got to make it happen.

We picked up our winner Jessica Ann Matthews two awesome little girls, loaded them into the R8, and headed over to RJ’s Convenience for some ice cream.

This is the kind of stuff we love doing. Cool cars are fun, but getting to share the experience and make some memories with people in our community is what makes it worth it.

Huge thanks to everyone who entered, shared the post, and supported Cliffs & Combustion.

I think we might have to do this one again…

Think you’ve got a ride that turns heads? Bring it to the 2nd Annual Medicine Hat Ribfest Show N’ Shine, proudly sponsored once again by Bear Mechanical!

From classic cars and hot rods to custom builds, lifted trucks, imports, and everything in between, this is your chance to show off your pride and joy during one of Medicine Hat’s biggest summer events.

🏆 Trophies will be awarded in multiple categories, and winners will also receive Rib Vouchers to enjoy some of the best BBQ around!

✅ $20 per vehicle
📍 Registration is ON-SITE ONLY at the Medicine Hat Public Library

Registration/Show 10am -4pm

⚠️ First Come, First Served
🚫 All vehicles MUST be registered before entering the Show N’ Shine area. No pre-registration is available, and vehicles will not be permitted into the event without first checking in at the registration booth.

The shop’s been absolutely slammed lately, but we’ve been sticking to what we do best.

Diesel. Performance. Suspension.

We don’t try to be everything to everyone. We’d rather be the shop people are willing to drive hours for because they know it’ll be done right. (The King Ranch from Manitoba)

Last week of July was F-450 week.

Two brand-new trucks. Same goal. Two different approaches.

Truck #1
• 24” KG1 wheels
• Full delete
• Cervini’s hood
• Trigger Long Johns
• Carli Pathfinder suspension

Truck #2
• 22” Fuel wheels
• Trigger flaps
• Carli Backcountry suspension

Both trucks got the treatment. Different setups, both built the way the owners wanted them.

Mayhem on the Mountain 2026.

This year hit a little different.

We didn’t come out to prove anything. We came to spend time with the people we talk to every day but don’t always get to see.

It’s easy to know someone through messages, phone calls, and social media. It’s different when you can shake their hand, have a beer, talk trucks, and actually get to spend time with them.

That’s what this weekend was about for us.

The trucks are always the focus but they’re just the reason we all end up in the same place. The people are what make these events worth the drive.

Big thanks to Dirty Diesel Customs for putting another great event together. We appreciate everything you guys do for the diesel community and most importantly us.

When the boss pays for the brake clean… the boys let it fly.

The best part of the diesel community and the show scene isn’t the trucks—it’s the people we get to meet along the way.

Had the pleasure of having Blake Kodallas in the shop with his clean Limited Super Duty. Another out-of-town customer willing to make the drive to see the Bear Boys, and that never goes unnoticed.

Love us or hate us… y’all know who we are.

When DIESELR puts on an event, you know Bear Mechanical is gonna be there to put on a show.

Forces. Toyos. Big smoke. Gangster truck.

If you’re gonna light ’em up, do it with a truck worth looking at.

90s legends never die.

1993. The GMC Typhoon.

The fastest thing on the street in its day. Before lightnings Before Trackhawks. Before launch control was a button.

This one? One of just 77 built in Apple Red. It spent 16 years in Japan, making an already rare truck spec even more desirable.

It’s the kind of vehicle that doesn’t need to scream for attention. The people who know… know.

That’s the Bear Mechanical way.

We don’t build trucks for everyone. We build them for the people who appreciate craftsmanship, rarity, and doing things differently.

You might not understand it.

But you’ll damn sure respect it.

Outwest 2026 has officially come and gone.

We’ve been part of the Outwest Truck Fest family since the very first show, and every year we’re proud to roll through those gates.

Last year, we rolled in loud and proud with our staple builds—taking home Highest Horsepower Gas with our Lightning, putting on a show in the burnout pit, and watching our ’79 Bronco become an Outwest icon, even earning a spot on the 5th Anniversary shirt.

This year was different.

We left the staples at home and put the spotlight on our employees’ trucks instead.

For us, Outwest wasn’t about trophies or horsepower—it was about the people. Catching up with friends, spending time with family, connecting with fellow vendors, and continuing to build the relationships that have helped make Bear Mechanical what it is today.

Every conversation, every handshake, every customer who stopped by to ask questions, grab some merch, or simply hang out reminded us why we do this.

Thank you to everyone who came by the booth and showed us some love.

We’re proud to be part of this community, we’re proud to represent the diesel scene, and we’ll keep proving why Bear Mechanical is The Diesel Shop.

See you all next year. 🐻🤘
