"West Coast Launch Shipyard Ltd. is honored to be a recipient of the BC Maritime Industries Infrastructure Modernization and Expansion Grant. This funding has been instrumental in advancing our Drive Down Ramp and Dock Project, which is on track for completion in early 2025, marking a significant step forward in enhancing our marine operations and supporting the local maritime industry."

Yesterday, West Coast Launch Ltd. had the privilege of providing marine transportation for the Gitxaała Job Fair and AGM, bringing our 100-passenger vessel, the MV Inside Passage, to Kitkatla. We were thrilled to host a booth, share our services, and connect with the community.
This event was an incredible opportunity to engage with local businesses, groups, and the amazing Gitxaała Nation. We are truly grateful for the warm welcome and the chance to collaborate with such an inspiring community. Thank you, Gitxaała, for inviting us! What an unforgettable experience!

Last week, our West Coast Launch Ltd crew had the opportunity to participate in oil spill response training with the WCMRC team (Western Canada Marine Response Corporation) here in Prince Rupert. This hands-on training was a great success, and we're proud to continue strengthening our skills and preparedness.
Oil spill training like this is essential to our mission of protecting our coastline and marine environment. Working closely with WCMRC not only enhances our ability to respond quickly and effectively to potential spills but also underscores the importance of collaboration in safeguarding our natural surroundings.
A big thanks to the WCMRC team for leading this training and ensuring we’re ready to handle anything that comes our way. Protecting our coastlines is a responsibility we all share, and together, we’re committed to doing our part.

Did you know that we service the community of Dodge Cove around 8 times a week? Dodge Cove is an amazing small community right across the harbour of Prince Rupert on Digby Island. Our ferry services the community members of Dodge Cove first and there is usually space for visitors to hop on the ferry to go over and explore Dodge Cove for the day.
