A nostalgic moment appreciating the late John Bandstra Sr. who established this company in 1955 through the purchasing 2 trucks from Capling Transfer.

The company began under the name Smithers Transport, and was later changed to Bandstra Transportation in 1991 as it continued to expand in BC.
