Well, this year‘s been full of ups and downs, but the one constant rock that kept us going all year was our Buckhorn Race Team Family! Who’s our family? Our family consist of friends, sponsors, peoples that helped out with the car on and off the track. Some more than others but that doesn’t matter. Once you’re a part of our family, Sorry lol but you’re a remember for life. Racings not all winning and losing, granted winnings nice once in a while. Racing is about having fun and improving yourself. I watched my grandson improve his driving skills tenfold with the biggest smile on his face the entire time. I also watched my son in-law humbled after wrecking early in the 🇨🇦200 but we had fun getting to that point. We learned tons and we’ll be back again next year. Me …🤔… I like that time in the car, the time between the drop of the green and the waving of the 🏁🏁, because you can forget about everything and nothing else matters. With all that said and one more race day, next weekend in Quesnel, I’d like to personally thank all that made this year possible;

Glen, Nicole & crew @ Tharrow Crane

Dale @ Red Rock Plumbing and Heating

Shawn & Cynthia, Can You Dig It contracting

Jamie & Nikki of Advanced industrial Group & Wolverine Workwear

Randy of Randy’s auto service

Dustin, Pam & the crew of Victoria Sports Physiotherapy

Jeff Knowles @ Just Diesel

Buckhorn Automotive Mechanical.

And of course our crew, Rose Verkaik, Tiffany-Rose Verkaik, Devon Wood, Mike Staniforth, Robert Verkaik, Brandon Verkaik, Santana Foster and me Rob Sr.
One more toast to our crews significant others for putting up with the late hours working on the car (🥃😉).
Love ❤️ you all!

Awesome night of racing at South Buxton raceway, Southern Ontario. Winged Sprints, Modifieds, Lates and bombers.

Interesting night of racing. After getting up on the top side of the racing surface and into the marbles up there. My 12 year old grandson Brandon Verkaik slide up in into the turn 3/4 wall. It ended his night but it could have been worse. He now is learning the highs and lows of this great sport. Fixing what broke! Great being apart of your crew kid. Very proud of you Henry! But stay off the dam wall.
Big Thanks to our 2 car crew Rose , Tiffany-Rose, Kolten, Devon, Mike and most of all our sponsors;

Seams like not to long ago l met this short feisty little brunette. she was like a little stick, dynamite. I lead this little lady halfway across Canada and back to make Prince George are home. Can’t believe it’s been 34 years together. 5 years after we met and a little persuading, “I wont always be a slob! “😉 she gave me her hand forever. Happy 29th anniversary, you still make my heart skip a beat, especially if you’re reaching for a gun🤭. Love ❤️ you 🥂 to another 30 year together!
