A little sneak peak of the project we’re working on 😏

Kryptonite ultimate front end kit ( look at that idler arm and bracket assembly on the left of the first pic 💪🤯) and Kryptonite wheel bearings, BDS lift kit, GT Offroad wheels and some Venom “street tires”… we also previously got this truck tuned with a 5 tune/5 position switch to wake it right up!

Got rid of that famous grid heater issue in the back of this customers mind.

We installed the Fleece Performance kit with 2nd heating element as well to assist in those cold weather starts.

The big difference we like with this kit is you don’t have to worry about proprietary fuel lines, one kit that fits a full range of trucks, cleanest and most well labeled instructions/bolt packages you’ve ever seen!

This is a part-time position with the potential to lead to a full-time position\apprenticeship opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

* Shop cleanup and organization
* Assisting with repairs and maintenance
* Learning automotive and tire service skills
* Tire mounting, balancing, repairs, and seasonal tire changes
* General shop duties as required

What We're Looking For:

* Self-motivated and dependable
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
* Valid driver's license preferred
* Automotive or tire experience is an asset

Wage: Dependent on experience.

“My AC just needs a top up”

We’ve heard this MANY times this year. (Un)fortunately your AC system is a closed system, meaning if it ever needs a “top up”…there’s a leak somewhere.

A little, not so advertised fact, these top up kits don’t “fix” your system, they charge it with a hydrocarbon refrigerant like propane or isobutane. Which CONTAMINATES your AC system and in the end results in costing you more due to the fact of having to evacuate it into a “waste” system rather than recovery and recharge.

In Canada you have to have a certification to purchase AC refrigerant.

PLEASE don’t use these.

Seized bolts… no problem!

This may be one of our new favourite purchases. This induction heater helped make quick(er) work of both of these EGR valve bolts which did not want to budge at all.

Between heating and some top notch penetrating oil we were able to remove them without breaking, preventing what could have turned into a much bigger and more costly repair.

We’re continuously growing, expanding and investing in top-notch tools and equipment to help serve our customers better, complete repairs more efficiently, and reduce the risk of turning a small repair into a much larger one.

“Rollin coal” isn’t as cool as it once “was”! 💨

Customer complaint was it blows more black smoke than it used to and feels sluggish.

We hooked up our boost leak tester, and had an immediate red flag… not building any pressure in the intake system. Searched around for a major leak and found nothing.

Hooked up the smoke machine to see if we could find the leak in a more hidden area… still nothing.

Questioning the EGR system at this point…

Sure enough when we hooked the boost leak tester up it pushed all the smoke out the exhaust and confirmed the EGR valve was stuck open, allowing flow from the intake system direct out to the exhaust on this LMM Duramax.
