Timing can be everything, especially on an engine. It's not something you expect to be out, but this fall it was seen a couple times. You never know what prior work or problems it might have had. As the early 4 stroke outboard engines aren't getting any younger, many timing belts have likely never been replaced, going on possibly 25+years. A failure could be catastrophic, so plan for this future maintenance. Yamaha 75hp-115hp belts in stock.
